French Navy, My Sailor Mate

Ahoy!  There is nothing pirate-ish about this post, this is my "THINGS I WANT" post.

No, actually, this is my "I WANT MANUAL PHOTOGRAPHY TO HAPPEN THIS SEMBREAK" post.

I have a manual SLR I haven't used since freshie year (but I lend it out to friends taking Film 110).  I want to reuse it, now that I have a better understanding of ISOs, shutter speeds, apertures, etc.  Manual photography is pricey, yes, but the photos are priceless! Well, good photos of good subjects are! My Film 110 plates were all crap.  I'd take 5 photos of an orange using different shutter speeds/aperture because I had no idea if they'd be over/under exposed.  I took 'bracketing' seriously. I still have a couple of photo papers here, I hope those things don't "expire".  Now if only I had my own darkroom...

1. A Polaroid Camera
I've always wanted a polaroid cam.  Like since I knew about it's existence.  And today that want got tapped again, thanks to Ayisse.

Php 4, 750 for this.  I actually thought polaroids (okay, it's a brand name, I know, but let us not deny it will always be polaroid in our heads) cost around 10K.  I really really want this, in pink, thus the number one spot.

2. Fisheye camera + submarine case

Because Dubu deserves to see through a fish's eye! And look, Php 3, 500 only! I don't know how much fisheye lenses are, but I do know lenses in general are expensive. Like 5 digits kind of expensive.


As much as I want to buy them, currently, my money's set aside for other things.  So if you want to surprise me, by all means please do. I want number one the most, JSYK.


Also, look at me writing this blog with todo effort with the pictures and links when I have my proposal waiting for me. *shakes head*
