Our household has seen a lot of house helpers come and go. Some of them lasted years, some a couple of days. Maybe that's why our current house helper is the boss. Whatever she says, no one contests. I'm pretty sure none of us would want to go back to washing our own plates again.
The other day, she made crab with squash for the second time. They were delicious! It was like a Modern Family-Community crossover. But momma pointed out the squash were too... squashed and I was like no mama you do not lecture our maid! True, it was the messiest thing to eat, but I am not eating roast chicken take outs for a month again.
Anyway, today our maid's corn soup was too watery, but I couldn't care less. As long as I can go back to bed after eating, I'm all good.
