My mom has always been supportive of my culinary... gift. When everyone has been mocking me and my pastries, my mom would just always suggest new things to cook and buy ingredients from the grocery for me.
The other day, she even gave me a cook book and told me to cook since I'll be staying home this semester. Finally, someone trusted me!
Yesterday during a Skype conversation between my family and my sister abroad who's getting married soon, my younger sister, still from a DC Cupcake marathon high, suggested I bake cupcakes for the wedding.
"Si Isay? YUUUUUUCK!" -Mom
Well, she did tell me she's going to have the kitchen renovated this week and there will be a new stove FOR ME. All is well, mother.
